Modern Filipina women trooped to World Trade Center last January 23 to witness and to take part at Cream Silk’s newest campaign launch: Cream Silk Transformations: Spotlight on the #ModernFilipina. Through the years, the leading hair conditioning brand has been known for helping women go beyond beautiful, and this 2016, Cream Silk champions Modern Filipinas, who strive to become the best versions of themselves, in their journeys of transformation.
Together with the Philippines’ top magazines (Cosmopolitan, Meg, Mega, Metro, Preview and Yes!), Cream Silk, celebrated the beauty of women who have constantly challenged themselves to transform from good to great and even inspired and empowered event attendees to be the best version of themselves.
There were workshops and talks by the Philippines top industry experts, focusing on beauty and fashion. Each activity featured different kinds of transformation, from beauty and fashion makeovers to unleashing one’s inner potential.
At the Cream Silk lounge, guests completed the experience through hair transformations. To demonstrate that only Cream Silk can transform any hair problem to beyond beautiful hair, experts assessed hair needs, as well as recommended the best styles to highlight assets. Then, guests had their hair done in their style of choice to experience their very own Cream Silk transformation.
Meet Cream Silk’s #ModernFilipinas
My favorite part of the event was the unveiling of the new roster of Cream Silk Modern Filipinas. I witnessed the first ever live cover shoot experience on stage which will appear on the cover of top magazines’ March issues: Heart Evangelista, Nadine Lustre, Coleen Garcia, Julie Anne San Jose, Rachelle Ann Go and Yassi Pressman, who have all embarked on their own journeys of transformations.
Heart Evangelista for Mega, Julie Ann San Jose for Meg, Rachelle Ann Go for YES!
Coleen Garcia for Preview, Yassi Pressman for Cosmo and Nadine Lustre for Metro
To add, to the already impressive lineup, Cream Silk also welcomed home, Pia Wurtzbach on her first Philippine appearance as Ms. Universe. Pia epitomizes the most inspiring transformations of the Modern Filipina yet, set to conquer the universe! With a beauty that inspires, determined to realize her dreams, she has come back to make her positive mark in the world, taking her well deserved walk at Cream Silk’s event.

Thank you so much Cream Silk for igniting my spirit to empower myself more and for encouraging modern Filipinas to transform themselves from good to great!
